Volunteer Opportunities

  • Help prepare registration materials, swag bags, signage, and equipment to ensure everything is ready before delegations arrive.

  • Stay on-site with delegations to welcome them, serve as their main point of contact, and support housing rules, schedules, and curfews.

  • Support meal service by coordinating dining hall flow, assisting with dietary needs, and helping with catering during Festival activities.

  • Serve as the primary guide for a delegation, welcoming them to Boston upon arrival and accompany them to various Festival venues and locations, ensuring safety and timely transportation. Sometimes also supporting with language needs. 

  • Assist with field setup, equipment, scorekeeping, food distribution, group transitions, and cleanup during the fair play football tournament.

  • Support delegations during tournament days and sightseeing activities, assisting with navigation, safety, and meal distribution.

  • Support event logistics by helping with site setup and breakdown, signage, equipment, and materials across Festival venues and verifying credentials at housing and Festival sites.

  • Capture and publish Festival content, support social media channels, and assist with press and media engagement.


  • Facilitate communication among participants, delegation leaders and first aiders in case of an injury. On rare occasions, on-site first aid or CPR may be needed so basic training or certification is a plus.
